When I remember Karen, I think of the hours we spent laughing on the phone. In high school, we used to play this silly "Find the Chicken" game we made up in which we would scribble all over paper and ask each other to find the hidden chicken. Then we would have some dumb punchline about why the other couldn't find it. For some reason, we found our game hilarious. And Karen had the only toes that made mine look normal.
I am sure you feel sorrow at Karen's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. But my life was blessed with joy and so much laughter from knowing her. Thank you, Mrs. Larson, for your wonderful daughter. I will always think happy thoughts when I remember Karen.
